While input costs change every season, knowing which field truly makes a profit is the basis of good decisions.

Most producers look at total income and expense at season's end; but this doesn't show which parcel profited and which lost. Per-field cost tracking lets you see each parcel's own income-expense balance separately.

When you record seed, fertilizer, pesticide, irrigation, labor and machinery costs per field and season, cost and yield per acre become clear. So you decide, based on data, how much input to use for which crop next season.

In Tarliva, the production recipe, applications and expenses you attach to each parcel are automatically posted to that field's cost. At season's end you see your per-field profit-loss table on one screen.
